New Video: Day 2 - My First Solo Narrowboat Adventure — Challenges, Locks & Canal Life
Issue 4: What could possibly go wrong this time?
I have got a little behind in posting videos to the newsletter, so please bear with me as I catch up.
On day two of my transfer of the Grey Wagtail from the Whilton to the Croperdy Marina, I embarked on my very first solo narrowboat cruise. The journey was full of surprises, challenges, and unforgettable moments.
Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store:
Tackling locks solo for the first time (and maybe getting a little help along the way!).Cruising through the incredible Braunston Village, the heart of narrowboating in the UK?
Navigating tricky turns, tight spaces, and a stunning stretch of the Grand Union Canal.
Transitioning onto the Oxford Canal, where the scenery changes and the boating becomes more challenging.
This is just the second day of my three-day journey moving my narrowboat to its new home in Cropredy Marina — 30 miles, 30 locks
