My New Adventure Begins – Welcome Aboard Grey Wagtail!
I’m excited to share some big news — I’ve bought a narrowboat!
It was a completely unexpected turn of events. I was planning to buy a boat, but not for another few years.
I now have the keys to my narrowboat, Grey Wagtail.
The Grey Wagtail is a 57-foot traditional-style narrowboat with a Beta Marine JD3 engine. If you don’t know what that means, subscribe to this newsletter, and you will find out more over the coming months.
This newsletter will be a mixture of posts about me and the boat, along with other stories about my wanderings. I will not be posting to a fixed schedule. I will only post when I have something to say, so please don’t expect a newsletter every week, I may go quiet for a while and then post several times over a few days.
I will also use this newsletter to let you know when I publish videos of my adventures on the Grey Wagtail on my Nick’s Wanderings YouTube Channel.
